  1. The last thing the world needs is more frickin' entrepreneurs. This is Stanford's loss, the country is better off with you going someplace where you're appreciated. My own opinion is that admissions can be very impetuous and within the pool of qualified applicants, somewhat based on luck. If the person who happens to look at your application doesn't feel you, they'll go with someone else.
