  1.  tyjghjghhh  Actually China gave rockets to the rest of the world I'm very much of the opinion that China is going to be the primary hub of innovation for the coming centuries. They had some catching up to do, but they are definitely caught up.

Much of China's early space program was possible because of the contribution of the brilliant American educated (and stupidly deported) rocket scientist, Qian Xuesen, who practically built the Chinese rocket and missile program from nothing. That is not to diminish in any way the achievement of China's space program, which would not have been possible without strong and enlightened central support and dedicated Chinese students of Dr. Tsien to carry on and expand his legacy.

  3.  ho ma  I don't know anything about any American general, but Qian Xuesen was most definitely deported during the Red Scare of the 1950s.
