  1. Beating the virus is going to require some trust. Chinese' trust in their government has led to China's success in suppressing the virus. Westerner mistrust is undermining the western response. Now we need to take these vaccines and get everybody in the world vaccinated. We shouldn't be trying to undermine this trust in either direction. Genuine concerns are okay to discuss, but let's not discuss it to ominous music and a plain black background, okay?

  2.  Au Ngai Sum  I understand your reluctance. Corporations can't be trusted, that's why we need good government regulation. (I can hear you scoffing). It doesn't change the reality though. We can't beat this thing without trust. That may very well mean we can't beat this thing.

  3.  starcraft5045  I get your point. It doesn't change the fact that we need trust to defeat this foe. It does shed light on why that trust will probably not be forthcoming.
