All vaccines out there are going to be needed, and all of these vaccines are safe. Nobody should be undermining any of them. We're all in this together.

I'm excited about this. I hope this artery greatly improves Lao's overall connection to the world and strengthens their economy, as well as southern China's.

Hi Lula! Good luck on your campaign.

I don't think they have high-speed rail there yet, but they do have a good line to Lhasa and I believe there is another line under construction.

I love how people "know" stuff that there is no way they could possibly know.

@rodolforaul4631 Be very careful what you wish for. Real revolutions are bloody affairs and the aftermath is even worse. I know Brazil is going through hard times right now, much of it courtesy of your government, and I sincerely hope you can find a better, more socially responsible future without the hassle of cutting off a bunch of heads.

@rodolforaul4631 I understand. There comes a point where there are no other options. But go in with your eyes open. Very few revolutions have not led to brutal carnage both of the vanquished, and those victors not deemed ideologically pure enough, and most end with a political result whose improvement on the previous situation is highly questionable.

That's kind of how global politics works though.

Gotta start somewhere.

No they shouldn't, and the Chinese leadership knows they shouldn't.

@donalain69 Law is the codification of social priorities and it can be corrupt if those priorities are corrupt, an example in my view would be the property occupation laws prevalent in twentieth century America that red-lined various neighborhoods excluding people of color, but this would require us to define what purity of law actually is. Is a law corrupt just because it treats a segment of society that has no control over it's defined condition like dirt? If I take your statement literally I must acknowledge that there are laws that are not corrupt. Whether or not the corrupt laws have to be included in the overarching term "law" and whether that presence is sufficient to make "law" corrupt is a subject for debate.
