  1. I'm a Pete supporter myself. And while I have some reservations about the UBI proposal Andrew Yang was advocating, I very much appreciate the fact that he recognized and pointed out the challenges we face as a country and as a species regarding the fourth industrial revolution and the victims now and coming of automation. I don't think anybody else running was willing to admit the scope of this issue or to suggest any kind of action to address it. I find Yang to be highly intelligent and I think his perception is important. I also really appreciate the fact that he didn't try to undermine the other Democratic candidates. I hope we have not seen the last of Andrew Yang.

  2.  @shai2137  The status quo covers a lot of territory. We should look to change that which is harmful (and admittedly a lot of what we have now is harmful) but we should not change things just because they exist or just because they follow a long-running tendency. We need to be more discerning than that.
