  1. I thought I had it. The solution I came up with was to say the color of your hat once if matches the hat in front of you and to say it twice if it doesn't match.

  3. I got the right answer, but I got it the hard way. I gotta say that that would take some hellacious insight. Also, it requires odd unit dimensions on one side, but the logic would fail if they have a common factor that would allow for a whole unit redefinition, for example a room 25×50 could be defined as a room 50×100 if the units were half-sized.

  4. I got it, but there is no way I would have come up with the solution in the "few minutes" the monster was asleep. Thank God the world wasn't depending on me.
