Journalism everywhere is agenda driven. This is true of so called mainstream media as well is independent journalism. It's true in the west, and it's true in Russia and China and everywhere else as well. This doesn't mean that journalism should be ignored though. It's our only source of information for those of us outside the intelligence communities. We should listen, and we should be thankful for folks like Alexander who sift through it for us, but we should be very careful about what information we believe and how much we believe what we want to believe. We only have glimpses of the truth, and it's hard to distinguish from the true-sounding.

@evehawasinare228 The independent "journalists" I've seen are just as agenda-driven as the regulars, though often in the opposite direction. I know I tend to believe those reporting what I want to hear, whether that's from CNN, RT, or TLDR. I tend not to believe, and I even personally shut down the same sources when they tell me what I don't want to hear. It's really hard to get beyond my biases, and even when I do, I have no way of telling whether or not what I'm hearing is accurate. If I go by what sounds logical, I'm right back into my bias bubble. I just try (probably with limited success) to keep an open mind, and muddle through as best as I can.
