  1. as an American, I can tell you most of us don't see ourselves as great humanitarians. the intelligent ones that aren't scraping and scratching everyday just to live, have known for a long time but have been powerless to do anything. then there are those who are sleeping in their car or are paying most of their paycheck to rent in child care and are trying to figure out how they're going to eat, and there are struggling so bad they don't have time to think about anything that is bigger than their small little world. that is by design. then you have the really loud toxic sludge that is the right wing 20% of our country. they think they have the right to speak on anything no matter how stupid and we're all just supposed to fall in line. that last group makes the news. the rest of us don't matter, we just pay for it all.

  2. ​ @lullaby218 no one's discriminating against white people. what you are experiencing is consequences for your actions. you are not special. I never understood this argument because you act as though you are speaking for all white people when you don't even speak for most. you are the minority and you need to check your privilege. that goes for every other doofus in these comments pretending someone's hurting you. 🙄
