I live in a blue state with a Democratic governor. the previous governor also a Democrat appointed a three Democrats to the utility commission here in Oregon and they approved at 12.7% rate hike. the problem is, most of our elected officials are on the take and it doesn't matter what side of the aisle you are on.

  9. here in Oregon we're still trying to pay for the disaster Pacific power caused to Paradise California. so, not only are we giving California our water, we're also paying extra high electric bills. I've emailed our governor and I've emailed the utility commission here and I still haven't received a reply. (obviously not surprised). what can we do?

  25. Sam Walton was a pretty decent dude. from everything I've read I'm quite certain he wouldn't be against unions. I'm sure he's spinning in his grave over what his children have done to his legacy. I believe he is one of the top three currently most hated corporations in the world.

Republicans are just as bad if not worse when it comes to selling what belongs to the people to the highest bidder. they have been for at least the last 60 years. that's just a fact. so no, voting for Republicans for anything is not going to help anyone. regarding the Israeli point you tried to make. Israel is an apartheid state that we are funding. every good thing they have is because we paid for it to include but not limited to free health care and free college. we can't pay for it for our own citizens but apparently we can pay for Israelis to have the very things that the American people deserve. so whatever they're doing well at it's because we've paid for it. it's best just to leave them out of the argument entirely. and before you jump on the train of calling me an anti-semite I would advise you to be aware that being anti-israel is not being anti Jew. they are not the same thing.

  33.  @blondey3261  but none of this is true. personally, I'm not vegan because I'm an omnivore. all humans are omnivores. that being said, there are proteins and other minerals that you need that only come from meat. more specifically beef organs. I'm on the ketovore diet because it's medically necessary for me due to my health issues. I'm not able to eat a lot of vegetables. only certain kinds that aren't root vegetables or contain any sugar. did you know that peas corn and carrots are sugar vegetables? potatoes break down into sugar. it appears there's a whole lot of things you don't know about the human diet. I have hashimoto's thyroiditis. I couldn't be vegan even if I wanted to. unintelligent vegans really like you really piss me off. if you want to eat like a rabbit, more power to you. but you have no idea what anyone else is going through so it would probably be best if you just keep it to yourself. further, not only are eggs extremely healthy for you their shells are as well. if you want answers about how humans should eat I recommend watching any YouTube video by dr. Ken Berry or Dr Eric Berg. and please stop trying to shame anyone into being vegan.

  35. the postal services never been underfunded because it runs independently with its finances and actually even though it's not supposed to turn a profit, it did. this scared profit hustlers. that's why the price of stamps go up every year. it's why the post office can no longer function as a bank. (yes, that was one of its purposes). slowly but surely they are eroding every service that they offer and making requirements that are unnecessary and actually silly, all in the name of trying to take it over.

  36. being a landlord is not a job. it's making money for doing nothing. none of this should have been allowed in the first place. it shouldn't take people picketing for the federal government to realize this would happen. all housing should be public. nobody should be allowed to own property that they haven't paid for in its entirety. there simply shouldn't be any land lords. this kind of crap is one of the reasons this country was formed. an uneducated electorate is what got us here and we need to change that before we change anything else. unless, of course y'all like being serfs.

I'm sure they are and I'm sure that they suffered immensely from Trump's poor China trade deals. I'm sure they had there's satellite TV tuned into Trump before 2016 and saw him make fun of that disabled reporter. I'm sure they heard him horribly about women.   49. there's approximately 600 people that own everything in this country. approximately 6 corporations own every other company in this country. unless you plan on growing your own food, using a bidet, and not participating in the healthcare system to include prescriptions, you aren't going to get any where even close to making a dent in our messed up system.
