as a former resident of Florida for 17 years, I left 5 years ago. it was the best decision I've ever made in my life and I encourage everyone that lives there to do the same. actually, not everyone just the Democrats and the left leaning people and the decent Republicans that don't want to take everything away from everybody if there is such a thing. leave the rot there to drown and save yourself. these right wing lunatics will not ever change and you will have a hell of a time trying to fight them just to stay alive and yes it will get that bad and very soon. all of you middle income people that are still living in Florida you will become the next wave of homeless people and you'll get to see what it's been like for all the people that fell into some bad luck that came before you. don't believe me, drive through Cocoa Florida. not cocoa beach, cocoa. only go during the day and don't get out of your car. that's what all of Florida is going to look like probably within a year. also, stop kidding yourself. if you don't live in South Beach, Miami, etc it's not going to be good for you. those people have enough money to just pack up and leave. and make no mistake, they will leave.
