  1. I got scabies when working in a college in East London in 1973. The college doctor (English) said I had an allergy...my GP (Indian) recognised it straight away. My young brothers had it too. Mine got infected and developed into impetigo which is AWFUL. Our pharmacists in the UK are now allowed to diagnose impetigo and infected insect bites....what a surprise..NOT

  2. They can be caught from bus rails, communal towels, adults get it, it's vile and a bloody nuisance....
