  2. I went to a grammar school in London's East end and several pupils went on to be medics every year. I ended up teaching in a sixth form college in london that was fed by local comprehensive schools. In the 9 years I was there only 1 went on to become a medical doctor and 1 a paramedic. I blame Labour's Tony Crosland educated at Charterhouse and HE GOT RID of grammar schools.
