  1. I used to regularly walk from Britannia Road Ilford to Upton Park at night in the late 1960s. I moved into the downstairs flat of my nan's house in Forest Gate in 1977. By 1980 we had been harassed out of the house by Bangladeshis. My brother was bullied and harassed out of his Plaistow school in 1983. Newham council let it happen.
