Ok so he’s been found guilty on all three counts but I don’t understand why the sentencing is going to take 8 weeks. Surly if he is guilty on all three counts why can’t they sentence him like tomorrow and get it over and done with...

Why though it’s not as if they are going to overturn the verdict or insist on a new trial, in 8 week time he will still be guilty on all three counts
