Devon also flash pinned Ermes, are you saying he has better side pressure than Chaffee as well? Of course not. Levan couldn't even flash pin Ermes in the first 3 rounds, Ermes got stops in each of them. Are you saying Vitaly and Devon have more side pressure than Levan then? Of course not. Their longer levers were a nightmare for Ermes in the setup.

  35. I think the weight cut was too drastic. I think he’s lost too much strength and will lack energy during the actual match. We saw what that short notice weight cut did to his strength against Chance. And this was a more excruciating weight cut than that. I think Petrenko will win. I think Devon will learn his lesson about such a drastic cut.

That's why he can get away with just armwrestling specific singles now most of the time. Auden didn't have that base to build on; so just focusing on Devon-style singles could slow his progress in his journey to become elite at his age/weight.
