@BUCKETHATACE as if their was any chance of Gaddafi making africa a unified Global power, especially when he went to war with African countries and as if Africa would stop trading its resources even if it did. Africa has no choice but the trade it’s resources because the continent isn’t self sufficient nor could it be and it still gets large amounts of resources from other continents. No Gaddafi was butcher like a dog by his own people for the mass murders he committed against his citizens and the citizens of other nations, good riddance.

@BUCKETHATACE because every single African country imports goods, meaning they aren’t self sufficient. Not a single country on the planet is entirely self sufficient. Even Libya imports hundreds of millions of dollars worth of iron, steel, and rubber. The world would also collapse without China, or the US, or the EU but none of these are self sufficient either From the governments of these African country’s as well as universities. Their trade is published for everyone to see it’s no secret that African country’s import goods and resources.

@AFN.90210 why would anyone care about a currency he would make? Surely you don’t think that myth of the gold standard would have worked. There isn’t enough gold in Libya to run it for a year nor is their enough gold on the continent of Africa to run the continent for a single year. He was a horrible person who deserved death, great leaders generally aren’t dictators who murder their people with illegal weapons.

This would have bankrupt Libya, there isn’t enough gold or silver on the planet to run a country like the US or China nor did Libya have enough gold to keep their country afloat for even half a year. This is just propaganda spread around to hide the real reason Gaddafi was killed. In reality he was a murderous tyrant killing civilians of Libya and other nations so he was put to death as he should have been.
