@userag I have read it. True that Parliament may make law for it. Citizenship Act has been enacted under that power. Yes. What about it? How is it relevant to Article 14?

@userag Parliament is not bound by anything except the basic structure. And the basic structure is subject to interpretation. But.. we digress. What has that got to do with the misstatement of the person who made the original post? The said post was erroneous and you are now diverting the issue.

@userag But you are right. When the Judiciary is compliant, then not just the Parliament, even the executive Government is not bound by anything at all, it can behave arbitrarily as witnessed during Indira Gandhi 's emergency. What fundamental rights and what basic structure, nothing is ultra vires of anything. .... Or so the Courts may find. Our Honourable Supreme Court has already found everything from SARFAESI to IBC to UAPA non violative of fundamental rights. What's the big deal about CAA?
