  5. I'm a Colombian and American citizen, and I think he did more harm than good. The people in the planes he turned back would face more of the same conditions he claimed to have issues with, since they were mid air when he decided to turn them back. And now all visa applications are cancelled in Colombia, and petro agreed to all trump's terms for the plane anyway. Completely stupid decision he made, unforced, just because he's a terrible leader.

  9. At 4:28, Zelenskyy didn't 'try' to explain a history of breaking ceasefires; he brought that up to undermine the deal they're signing right there, to say it wasn't enough. Then, after that 'explanation' he asked 'what kind of diplomacy are you talking about JD'?. What exactly did he expect would happen after questioning, repeatedly and so explicitly with JD Vance, the usefulness of the diplomacy they're conducting RIGHT THERE? Zelenskyy had NO TACT, did himself no favors there. He came in wanting to influence people, the public, to put pressure on trump to provide the security guarantees Zelenskyy wants. THAT is disrespectful when it's done on live tv, and it was Zelenskyy's choice. Yes Trump could've reacted better too, but Zelenskyy had plenty of chances and he still could bring those concerns up with trump in private. He chose the worst possible time and place.

  13. I just want to see unscripted events, where she is pushed at least a little bit. This is a woman who wants to be President, who will have to deal toughly with some world leaders, she should show the people she can handle that. I don't have any confidence that she can, personally. I believe she's avoiding unscripted events and any challenge because she can't deal with it. You can see the debates from 4 years ago, or even interviews of her as VP, and it's obvious that she crumbles.

  25. Anyone with an aging family member would disagree with you. There was a doctor, a specialist on parkinsons, who basically said biden's behavior, from his movement to his speaking to the content spoken, is textbook early to mid parkinsons. He has an interview about it, about 8 mins, on nbc.

  27. @ I think objectivity is something to strive for, but honestly it's not possible to attain in these matters of politics. For one the topic is too large, there's too many pieces contributing to the outcome, like a true hyperobject. I think here the best strategy is to be open minded and empathetic with individual people that disagree with your own politics, and go from there. It's dangerous to think these people are objective, they are fallible too. I think the level of education gives them a nice way to paint an illusion of objectivity, and then they get arrogant too. I saw it all the time in college, in students AND professors.
