  1. The GOP courted a base that now wants them out of the picture, they've been so hellbent on their corporate-driven agendas that they've managed to disenfranchise the people who put them in power. Democrats should take note, but of course won't. I think the democratic party will become the new republican party and progressives will start their own, whether that be green or not. Everything has shifted so far to the right and has become so corporate dominated, that it's hard to picture it playing out any other way.
