  1. I live in the Canadian prairies and in the winter I never leave the city without full emergency supplies. If it's -25 and the car breaks down it doesn't take long to freeze. I even bring a warm winter jacket if I'm driving to an underground parking lot in the city in case the car breaks down and I have to sit there for an hour waiting for a tow truck.

  2.  @MrCanadatom  thank goodness somebody helped you. I know that drive and it can be no joke if you get caught at the wrong time of day in the wrong place in the wrong season.
