  2. I agree that way too much of history is just war, war, war. In school we never really learned how life was day today for people, we just learned what king invaded what country in what year. History is so much more complex than that. We didn’t learn about what technologies were around, and what life was like in general. How the economy worked etc. that’s why I was never history buff. They concentrated on the things that I think mattered the least. I bet life didn’t change much at all for people who weren’t participating in the actual wars. Either you pay taxes to this king or that king. I doubt it really made much of a difference.
