Earthlings point is that the Comanche were invaders themselves. Why is that bad to say? It's true. You are actually agreeing with Earthling.

@bingbongbang8895 No you clearly didn't because he said what I said in the speech. https://youtu.be/JmaZR8E12bs?t=115 1:55 is where he says it.

Didn't you know that the natives were pure and altruistic and never invaded each other nor took slaves from each other nor raped and pillaged each other? They were morally superior angels who went their whole lives having nary thought about anything but helping their fellow man. They said a prayer for each blade of grass they bent while walking across the plains and they felt awful about having affected nature in such an awful way. Did you really think a historical channel that has a trigger warning was going to give an account that was objective?

@mbgrafix Yeah I was too, haha. It's unfortunate because I love learning about history. Actual history. Not "written by the winners" history, nor "though the lens of today" history. I want the real deal.

You are judging people based on their race. There's a word for that...

I know you were being facetious, but you should use something besides "fine people on both sides" because Trump never actually said that. Right after those words came out of his mouth he very specifically said he did not mean the white supremacists and Nazis, and said those people should be condemned totally. Saying "find people on both sides" and attributing it to something Trump meant in totality is exactly like chastising anybody who quotes somebody as though the person meant the thing they are quoting. It's beyond belief disingenuous. If you don't believe me, search up the speech. He could not have been more specific in his condemnation of the Nazis and white supremacists.

@bingbongbang8895 Thanks for checking it out and owning up to it. The world needs more people like you. Everyone makes mistakes and it's okay. FYI I'm not even American so I have no dog in this fight but it blew me away that Biden kicked off his campaign saying he felt compelled to run because of what Trump "said". Scott Adams got in trouble with Twitter for saying it was a lie and linking to the video. It's insane. This next bit isn't about you, it's about people in general: Hate Trump all you want (and boy does he give a good list of reasons), but I wish everyone would look at each individual thing in context, and research it themselves. I find it literally insane that the "very fine people" thing it still being trumpeted by MSM to this day even though it's so unbelievably easy to fact check. I don't trust my own mother so I fact check damn near everything that sounds even a bit nutty. Things like the Mr Potato Head debacle. They did NOT get rid of him. He's still Mr Potato Head, but it's a whole family so they changed the name to reflect that and the Right went bananas as if it was some LGBTQ Woke consipracy. Believe me, both sides drive me nuts. Being politically homeless is very lonely haha. Cheers!

Amen. And the same thing will be said 100 years from now when what we are doing seems primitive.

I'm surprised this isn't offered as a university course in Portland.

Something foreign comes into your body (no pun intended) and causes a growth in you that can make you sick, and then it physically hampers you until you get it out of your body in a process that is painful and involves a lot of bodily fluids being discharged. It may not be a disease but it sounds pretty disease adjacent to me.

Nuance is on life-support.

Anyone who has to put a disclaimer before historical video is definitely the type to get stomped on anywhere times are rough.

I am on video three and all three are doing it so I am out just like you. I have a feeling this channel is being helped out by the lack of showing down votes because the percentage of negative comments on the three videos I've seen has been quite substantial.

It's amazing to me how an entire race of people are somehow said to be morally superior than every other race who's ever lived, and that's in spite of the vast amount of evidence that they were just human beings who did all the horrible stuff all the other human beings did.

It's like how on TV you hear people who are the 1% of the 1% of the 1% of the world complaining about how hard they have it. Ivy League university students acting like they are have it so rough in awful, awful America.
