@markduncan1144 when something irritates me, I often try to think of a scenario where what happened could be understandable. Like say in traffic somebody is zooming around and being an idiot or maybe driving on the shoulder or something and I try to imagine that they are running late to a job interview they desperately need, or they are panicking because the wife is about to have their first child or something. Or when people overreact to something, I try to imagine a scenario that they've had in their life that would make them sensitive to that topic. And sometimes I ask and usually I'm right. I try very hard to reserve my anger for times when it could actually be a benefit. Those times are few and far between.

I'm going to be charitable and assume she meant that tongue in cheek. My heart won't let me assume that somebody is that much of a POS

@markduncan1144 Believe me, my charitable response was not my initial instinct. I am incredibly cynical, and not without good reasons, but it's something I'm working on because I find things stress me out way less if I don't always assume the worst.
