It never hurts to cast your line, just make sure it's catch and release until you find a great one. Dating doesn't mean you have to "try to make it work" with everyone you meet. Just be super relaxed about it, and only respond to, approach, or message women who seem like they might be a match. Maybe that's only 1 girl a year but trying is better than nothing. I know a guy who says "I'm a straight shooter" but that's just because he doesn't lie. He doesn't take it like a badge of honor. Using the word 'brutal' means you're putting it up on a pedestal as a badass virtue, which it is not.

Every girl's dating profile: "I'm looking for a like-minded man who shares my values so we can grow together" but they don't say anything about their values. It's just "I love hiking and spending time with family and friends". Thanks.

@PartisanHypocritesEverywhere Where do you live where companies receive tax benefits for DEI? That's horrifying. Where I live the help wanted ads make it quite clear who they are looking for and who they aren't. Hint: it's not about your skill qualifications.
