The fact they actually charged him is hilarious. He stated facts at a function he was invited to speak at.

I dunno. He used to be so good. Remember him on CNN's Crossfire? Skewering both sides. He's losing it now though. He has clearly chosen a team.
17
As a Canadian who took part in those protests, I'm so glad that this comment section is full of people who haven't forgotten.
15
If they had low confidence, it came from a lab then there's 0% chance they would've put out that statement. They're just softening the delivery. This is so unbelievably transparent
12
@genxer1 Same reason they don't hold up Thomas Sowell. If ANYBODY should be held up as a positive roll model for black youth it's Sowell.
10
If Fauci can walk free then this guy certainly wont do time.

John Stossel has been in the business forever, and he's never been better than he is now.

We do. That's what auditors are for. The problem is not that the money is not tracked, it's that nobody cares. The newspaper wouldn't sell if the headline was about an audit. Most people are way too preoccupied with nonsense and whatever was put in front of them like a baby's crib mobile. For some bizarre reason people couldn't care less about the really important things that affect them. We are so easily distractible as a species that it's pathetic.

In Canada we literally don't elect our Prime Minister. We elect a local official, and party with the most local officials in the country wins and is the ruling party, and their head becomes the PM. Not one person has ever technically voted for Justin Trudeau.
5
Not sure if it's like this everywhere but in Canada, you get charged full tax on a used vehicle. When the vehicle was purchased, brand new, tax was paid on it. Then, five years later, you sell it for half price and the new buyer has to pay tax on the half price. Then they sell it and the next person has to pay tax. What the hell? It already had full tax paid on it. The government get the double triple and quadruple dip on the same item.
5
@joshfatal Anna Kasparian has recently talked about how she contributed to the division and problems we're having. That was so refreshing.
4
Not only can they track it, the representative literally laughs when called out on it on a televised interview.
4
@aldousorwell3807 roseann have the number one show and was cancelled for an innocent tweet. Do not overestimate peoples logic and reason.
4
I like that he said it, but unfortunately he didn't tell people to get educated on the issues. He basically just said "make sure somethings in it for you".
4
When he was running for president, the biggest criticism of him by far was they called him a flip flopper, and that he would do anything to please voters. Has he changed?
3
The saddest part is that people have already forgotten most of this stuff and it'll happen again.
3
@meowzic "Imagine just sitting in your apartment full of families and it's bombed because there is a wanted person living there" I get what you're saying, but what is the alternative? If Hamas purposely goes to populated areas to use civilians as human shields, what other option is there? Is it the fault of the bomber of the person (terrorist) who purposely hides amongst those people specifically because they are innocent civilians after doing an attack that they knew full well would provoke exactly this retaliation?
3
State banks would be great so long as it's not mandated. Let the best banks win.
3
It would be interesting to see if she makes money over and above her salary in perks. Is she cashing in? The amount of hardcore lefties who constantly whine and cry about inequality and capitalism who have no problems making WAY more money than the people who voted for them, while using good accountants to avoid paying a penny more tax than they have to is insane. It's even worse when you look at that lady, she champion who designed that tax the rich dress, even though the designer herself and AOC have both come under tax scrutiny. They the camera steals your soul. Well she never met a camera she didn't like.
3
I'd love to start a GoFundMe to create a rival to GoFundMe. I wonder how they'd treat that, haha.
3
He comes off more like he's reading from a playbook than he does someone thinking on their feet.
3
That's not even close to the worst ad. His ad to kick off his initial campaign was about the "very fine people" lie that anyone could easily check for themselves.
3
There are tons of Americans that talk about it. It's colloquially known as "the uniparty".
2
It's funny he talks so much about meditation and being calm and objective, then he foams at the mouth and loses it over all things Trump.
2
Keep black names out your mouf, (but pay respect to them. Pay respects but not by name. Don't use any names). Huh?
2
I assume Jordan respects things about him, as opposed to respecting him wholesale. At least I hope.
2
Duck Duck Go returned: "No results found for Dostoevsky, "It's easy to forgive someone for being wrong, but it's not so easy to forgive them for being right,". I couldn't even find anything close. Perhaps it's a paraphrase from someone different? I like Dos and I'd like to know if he did indeed say something similar, and by extension, if Sowell's similar quote "olivertwisted" posted is legit.
2
People in the restaurant industry are going to lose their jobs, at least it's because other workers are getting more money, not because of Covid lockdowns
2
Everything large scale is a racket. Literally everything. For so many years I assumed that all the bad stories that we heard were the outliers. The ones worthy of sensationalizing. But if you really look at it, and you think about it in an honest way, you can't think of one single major thing that hasn't turned into a racket.
2
Punching down? This MF made this song while being low income in the poorest part of America and the whole point is that the poor working man is being kept down the the rich. How TF is that punching down? This reporter is a joke.
2
I disagree with you about him going on that show. He absolutely should've gone on that show. You should go on every single show that wants to attack you. You can only win. Zealots aren't gonna like you no matter what so you can't lose with them, and there will be the odd person who has a brain and can digest what you're saying, and you will convert them.
2
Dear god no. He's off his rocker. His solution was literally to just tell businesses not to raise prices? That is the most low resolution thinking ever. The supply chain is global. Costs went up partly because most of our goods are foreign made it, at least, in part, and those prices went up. To tell businesses they can't recoup those cost is insane, especially since businesses operate on tighter and tighter margins these days.
2
He is the only member of the intellectual dark web that I didn't go down a rabbit hole with. He just didn't appeal to me for some reason. Now a couple years later he turns out to have severe TDS and seems like he's lost it. Perhaps my spidey sense was on to something.
2
Good on you. You are the type that actually gets things done.
2
I love the segment overall but I have to call out the "simps for genocide" comment. That's literally and figuratively incorrect. Trigernometry just had a guy on that explains this in the most elequent ways possible. And I say literally incorrect because the population of Gaza has at no point before or during this war gone down. Worst. Genocide. Ever. And the civilians killed, are the fault of the enemy combatants, who took hostages and keep their headquarters purposely around civilians. If a violent criminal runs into a China shop and hasta be subdued, you can't blame the police for wrecking the China shop. And I'm certainly no apologist for Netanyahu. I don't like him, I don't like the war and I think we should stay at 100% entirely out of it. I would withdraw all funding to Israel if I could.

I think it's a bit disingenuous to call this an "experiment". It seems like this was the same vaccine that was going to be jabbed into to a zillion people regardless of whether or not Israel was involved. Them paying a premium and providing data is just smart, if their agenda was to get everyone vaccinated. That in and of itself is not nefarious at all. If it really is anonymous data then I think the concept is a great idea. Yes, data is good. If we could see very early on it doesn't stop transmission and learn who it helps and who it doesn't, then that's amazing. I can't see how anybody could argue with that. I think the more sceptical you are the more you would want all of the data possible. If it can be traced? Hard pass. If the studies can be buried? Hard pass. The immediate releasing of studies and data should've been mandatory.
1
They hate whistleblowers that don't come to THEM with the story. It's all self serving. If they had any brains they'd be blowing whistleblowers in order to piggyback off the story they had nothing to do with. They could make themselves seem like it was done while aligned with them and get the hero points for it. Morons.
1
It blows my mind that the propaganda that the Republicans are bad for black people still persists since most of the cities that are doing terribly have been Democrat for decades.
1
She said not to her knowledge. They should go through her emails to see if she blatantly lied and then charge her. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the people who brought those zip ties were law enforcement agents in case they needed to use them to arrest people. It would be stunning if the media kept showing federal officers as proof that the people who stormed the building we're going to do harm to the politicians.
1
Fair enough. Same as Trump can't be condemned for starting the Jan 6 storming. He never said it. How people interpret it is not his crime to bear.
1
I'm really tired of the hyperbole from both sides. Go to a country with an actual dictator and marshal law and tell the leader to their face they're a piece of garbage. You will disappear forever. Trudeau is awful but we have laws and procedures that literally prevent dictators from existing here. Next election if he loses he won't be the leader anymore. That's the antithesis of what a dictator is.
1
Name me one single company that has been ruined because they went against the woke agenda. Perhaps a media company has a bit more to lose since they rely on advertisers, but regular retailers have nothing to fear. Everyone thought Chick-fil-A was gonna get canceled. Nope. Ivan Proverov of the Philadelphia Flyers decided not to wear the gay pride jersey in warm up. His jerseys sold out almost immediately. I think it wouldn't hurt a corporation and 80 capacity in the long run if they put out a statement that said they are not into making political statements, that they just want to make their product and that's it.
1
Just have the gov't say "You can't raise your prices"?! It's a GLOBAL supply chain. How you going to tell businesses they can't raise their prices even though the cost of their foreign goods (most of what we buy now) went UP? I'm glad he isn't in the chair Yellen is in. Yeesh. He thinks this is the Nixon era. And what about the business who'd been keeping their prices low and eating the inflation for years, and now is forced to raise? Tell them they can't? This idea has zero rationality behind it.
1
Read that LA Times article. It's WAY crazier than you think. It says "Republicans have asserted without a scintilla of evidence that Fauci and Collins manipulated the scientific consensus away from the lab-leak hypothesis." Really? Not a scintilla? If you watch this video and still believe that statement then you have a mental illness so bad you should be locked away from society. You are that deranged.
1
The worst was in 2009 when they still gave bonuses to all those executives who ruined the banks because "it was in their legal contract". That was nonsense. The government should've said "Okay then you fail and you get nothing and you're out of a job". Then again those execs would've been fine. Brian Stelter got canned from CNN for being so bad but ended up a Harvard Professor teaching journalism. What?
1
@detrockcity3 You could say the same thing about every guy. Everybody builds on what came before. The whole point is that funny is funny. There are extraordinarily few truly original male comedians either. Why is it OK for guys to build on what other guys did yet not women?
1
If he gets freed, Snowden will have a raging hard-on. That's one thing I'm surprised Trump didn't do. He should've pardoned Snowden, even if just for an F.U. on his way out the door.
1
For that kind of cheese I would pretend to be a hard-core Marxist flat earther. Sure it would ruin my soul by at least I’d be rich and miserable instead of poor and miserable.
1
$15k/hr yet, Rachel still claims to be on the left and I'm sure she's publicly against inequality of the wealth persuasion. Also, no president with any brains would ever go after a past president because they know that future presidents can come after them.
1
You say they want your pension money in the stock market like that's a bad thing. That's a GOOD thing. Over the long term the market goes up, plus you can make way more if you care to put in the effort. It's a win FFS.
