To be fair, it's BS to criticize someone for doing something that goes against something they said decades ago. You'd be really angry if Joe did that in a speech against someone you like.

Great, punish the athletes. That'll show Putin. FFS, how can people not figure out that when you backed people into a corner they get defensive, not contrite. It plays right into Putin's hands. He gets to say "look, the west is trying to destroy us. I am your only hope". I'm a moron and it's clear as day to me. Also, if any other countries that are importing, Russian oil are calling for this band then those people are absolute scumbags. Ruining the dreams of an athlete, who has nothing to do with politics while the politicians literally fund the war by purchasing Russian petroleum. It's so gross. Words cannot express my distain for most world leaders at the moment. Edit: if they do allow the athletes to compete as independents, then what was the point? I mean that seriously. What's the point? Back when the IDW was a thing, I liked and followed every single person on it, except Sam Harris. I never did a deep dive into him, because he was never even remotely interesting to me to begin with. I didn't feel that he had enough to offer that he was worth even looking into. I loved the Weinstein's, and Dave Rubin, and Ben Shapiro, etc., but Sam never did it to me from moment one. I'm sure he has a very high IQ but I don't think that alone is enough to really bring anything meaningful to the table.

The bottom line is that the only real conflict within the intellectual dark web, was literally all of them versus Sam. That tells you something. Ben Shapiro and Brett Weinstein get along just fine. When it’s everybody versus you, it’s you.

It's not binary. The options are not raise taxes or print money. How about we more efficiently spend the money we already have? Why is that never ever ever ever ever proposed as an option?

@MP-ky3hc Obama campaigned on whisleblower protection. He did the opposite. 2008 crash? He allowed the big banks to get even bigger, and NOBODY was held to account at all. In fact he hired many of those involved. He was a scumbag. He lobbied Canada on environmental grounds to not create oil pipelines, then added thousands of km to America's pipelines. He was a corrupt as the rest, he just did it with a slickness Trump doesn't have.
