I love the segment overall but I have to call out the "simps for genocide" comment. That's literally and figuratively incorrect. Trigernometry just had a guy on that explains this in the most elequent ways possible. And I say literally incorrect because the population of Gaza has at no point before or during this war gone down. Worst. Genocide. Ever. And the civilians killed, are the fault of the enemy combatants, who took hostages and keep their headquarters purposely around civilians. If a violent criminal runs into a China shop and hasta be subdued, you can't blame the police for wrecking the China shop. And I'm certainly no apologist for Netanyahu. I don't like him, I don't like the war and I think we should stay at 100% entirely out of it. I would withdraw all funding to Israel if I could.

The stuff about the word toady makes for a good comedy, but the point is ridiculous. It's admirable that she wanted to make 100% sure she was using the word correctly. Joe Rogan does that constantly on his show. He'll say something and then tell Jamie to look it up to verify the accuracy. That's a good thing. There's plenty to mock about what she says here, but the toady definition question is not one of them.

This video is being way too hard on her. Bari is 75% great, 25% WTF. Her and Jimmy and everyone commenting here I have way more in common than not. She also had the brains to see how bad the New York Times was getting so she left. She has absolutely no nuance perspective in any capacity when it comes to the Middle East, but other than that, she's not so bad. As far as main stream media folks go, she's absolutely one of the better ones. If the worst things about the media where her, it wouldn't be so bad. Joy Reid on the other hand is an absolute dumpster fire in every way. An absolute hypocritical hateful bigot.

Back when the IDW was a thing, I liked and followed every single person on it, except Sam Harris. I never did a deep dive into him, because he was never even remotely interesting to me to begin with. I didn't feel that he had enough to offer that he was worth even looking into. I loved the Weinstein's, and Dave Rubin, and Ben Shapiro, etc., but Sam never did it to me from moment one. I'm sure he has a very high IQ but I don't think that alone is enough to really bring anything meaningful to the table.
