One, this interview is from 2018. Two, you sound like a leftist. There's nothing wrong with allowing people to state their opinions.

"I'm still just trying to understand why someone's ancestral homeland is where they have a right to live." It's ridiculous. The worst are people born in another country who claim the "homeland" as a birthright. Beat it. And I don't give a damn what happened to your ancestors. Everybody's ancestors faced hard times at the hands of invaders. That's how all the borders in the world were created. That's how all of the cultures in the world got to be the way they are today. Everybody seems to think they are exempt from it, even though their own ancestors were complicit, because that's just the way it was for the entire history of humanity

@MrJREllman beat it. Both groups claim ancestral ownership to the land. Saying anything else is completely disingenuous. This nonsense battle of the book clubs has been going on for thousands of years. They kill each other over where they think a book told them they belong. It’s the most pathetic insanity ever.

'Were the Jewish people there hundreds of years before Islam was even created or what?" That should be irrelevant. What happened thousands of years ago should have literally zero bearing on what you feel entitled to today. @CHRISDABAHIA

If you find a balanced discussion of this situation, please link it to me. I do not have an opinion on the war. Of course I have an opinion on certain things the sides may do, but not over the umbrella tensions overall. As soon as religion gets involved, it's almost impossible to get an objective understanding, and I am not going to form any concrete opinions until I know more than talking points. What's sad is that there are tons of prominent people who feel that you are an absolutely reprehensible scumbag if you refuse to form an overall opinion based only off the terrorist attack. IDGAF what one group did one time, as far as my overall opinion. If a bunch of child molesters saved grandma's from a burning retirement home, would you get lynched for not praising them as the good guys, full stop?
