I am really against this entire comment section. The people who I am really against this entire comment section. The people who were the most awful before are the very people we need to be the most welcoming and most encouraging to. Nobody flips on a dime. These things take time. Help her chip away at what she's done and bring her into the light. Most people in this comment section or acting exactly like hard-core leftist. They're furious that she isn't 100% on their side already, and others are saying they would never except her no matter what. Well, how does that can I help? Attitudes like that are literally no different than the hard-core woke. We need to encourage anyone to stay on the path of discovery. So long as she's trending in the right direction we should be applauding her. Don't drive her types away. Nobody wins that way because she'll just end up back where she started but even more convinced we're truly the bad guys.

Canada ranks dead last or next to it in every single ranking by every single independent source. It's gone WAY downhill in the last 20 years. I work with tons of recent immigrants, and most of them say they would go back home if they had a serious health crisis. I have so many stories of how awful it is here now.

How was your hardline position any different from any ultra progressive? If you refuse to listen to somebody who starting to come over to your side because they haven't come all the way yet then you don't want a good resolution. You just wanna fight. If you refuse to listen to somebody, because they said, one thing you can't stand, then you just want the fight. Let's not be like that. Let's be encouraging and welcoming to anyone who, starting down the good path. We should be bending over backwards to welcome these people into the fold to help them understand the other damages they and their side have done. That's the only way to get meaningful change.

@Ryan91487 The vitriol is perfectly understandable, but what also should be understandable is that this is exactly the type of person you need to welcome with open arms. The leaders of these movements being converted is an absolute win. I completely agree that she should have to answer for her previous sins, but this comment section is writing her off forever. That is literally just petulance. That's not playing to win.. If we actually wanna defeat this garbage, we have to openly embrace every victory.

It's okay. She's just beginning her journey. Most of this comment section is full of people behaving like lefties. The reaction to anyone calling out any of this nonsense should be "Hey, we're glad you're finally opening your eyes and learning to be honest with yourself. You'll come to realize that a lot of what you held near and dear was also bs and this will be an ongoing journey for you so keep going in the direction you're going in and you'll end up in a much better place". Nope, it's "You were awful so you'll always be awful so long as you aren't 100% on our side in every possible way, and even if you do get there some of us will never forgive you anyway". That's not helping. We should be encouraging everyone at every positive step they make. ESPECIALLY if they were notoriously awful to begin with. Those are the people we need to accept with open arms the most. Don't give them a reason to dig in their heels and revert.

Great, she took awhile to start to see the light. Let's be way more welcoming and encouraging. You can't expect a lifelong hardliner to turn a 180 on a dime. That's not how it works.

@BusinessAustralian An awful, awful long way to go for sure haha. There's hope though. Their older interview with Keri Smith was great. She was a former lefty radical who came to her senses completely. It's not an overnight process. though.
