  1. I quite literally use people's opinion of JBP as a shorthand for their personality profile/intelligence. Almost nobody that hates him has actually taken the time to listen to him, long form, unless they have an agenda. People who are easily dismissive of him I know just follow their herd. You can disagree with him on things and that's fine, but to call him a danger or a bad person just makes you someone I don't want to be around. He can annoy you or you might just not really like him in general and fair enough, but if you find him worthy of protest or cancelling, then it says much more about you than it does him.

  2. Interestingly enough just yesterday I was contemplating the saying "Don't take down a fence until you know why it was put up" so that line in the interview really struck me.

  3. 1:04:20. How do you know if your worldview is balanced or if it's an ideology? Simple: do you objectively and consistently question your own conclusions? Ideology's achilles heel is curious objectivity.
