I wish the Vancouver police knew how to stop a riot. I was at the Stanley Cup riot (the latest one) and it was absolutely due to police mismanagement. I have a photo showing several thousand people outside the stadium just before the game started and there was not one cop in sight even though the last time the city had this situation, people rioted. The police were such a non presence they may as well have just stayed home.
