  3. PROPER hand washing I feel is way more effective. If you wash for 20 seconds with soap, then don't touch yer damn phone unless it's clean too. I think the problem is people wash, then touch this and that while preparing food, including boxes they just brought home from the store etc. At my old work, and you can't make this up, we had a staff Christmas party in 2021. Me and another guy had to go around and get every worker on site to sanitize their hands in front of us before lunch. Then they went BACK TO WORK FOR 30 MIN before lunch. Way to play it safe. I'm in construction and guys were using and sharing tools etc but we had the paperwork to "prove" we were safe. It was all such a joke.

  4. I took the first 2 in Canada and my job required it. If that happens again, I will lose my job. I will not get a jab this time around unless something drastic happens.

  6. To me it all boils down to the fact that the WHO is not an elected body, yet they want control over our freedom of movement? Forced vaccination? I don't care if these are unlikely, if they are technically possible then that's terrifying. To cede control of your own citizens to an unelected body? How can ANYBODY want that? I can't imagine any rational person wanting this. At all. At the very least, each country should put it to a vote with their own people. Make them aware of the pros and cons and let them vote. At least they'll have had a say.

  7. Beginning, middle and end of story for me is that China has fought transparency every step of the way. For some reason every nation is bowing to this instead of being livid. What does that tell us? I have no idea. It's baffling to me.

  8. Makes sense to me. I'm a germophobe and even I never wore masks unless mandated to. It never made sense to me. This evidence doesn't necessarily mean masks don't work (N95's HAVE to work since they filter out particles smaller than the damn virus). What it means is that airborne transfer is NOT how covid is spread. It's spread by other means.

  13. That health minister has no soul. I'm also upset at the other minister for not pressing her to answer the first question directly. These scumbags NEVER directly answer questions. Every government gets away with not answering the questions. It's so gross. They should be forced to answer. Trudeau in Canada doesn't even try to hide it. He'll smugly talk about middle class families when directly pressed over and over. The opposition should never give up though. They should do it day in and day out until the questions are answered, regardless of the topic. Edit: it disgusts me that people vote for these clowns in the system, where you don't have to provide evidence for your claims. I blame the public in every western nation. We don't demand better from our politicians yet we keep voting for them. This is why I almost never vote. I don't respect any of the parties. None of them seem to wanna primarily focus on robust evidence. The saddest part of it all is that they fear being destroyed if they change their opinion, but I don't think that would happen at all. If a politician actually had the balls to show the evidence why they used to believe what they believe, and then the new evidence that change their mind, voters would respect the hell out of them so unfortunately all of this posturing is for nothing. Everybody loses. There aren't words to express how angry I get when listening to people like her. My blood absolutely boils.
