Of course you are correct, but the way that’s worded makes it seem like misinformation isn’t a gargantuan problem as it is. Go fact check basically any story you see on any mainstream media outlet. Wait till a story comes along that you have a great deal of knowledge in. You will inevitably find that it misses the mark in very key areas, often times enough to give the viewer an unacceptably distorted picture of the story. Deep fakes and all of that are only going to add to the problem. It’s going to be fascinating.

Elon’s “vanity project” is ensuring free speech on one of the world’s biggest platforms. He was already on it and able to say anything he wanted. I truly believe it was mostly a benevolent undertaking. Did Elon touch you under your bathing suit when you were a child? You seem to be on a mission in this video and the reasons why are very unclear. He’s also a big nuclear guy and I assumed you’d be a fan.

Mark Rober did a halloween costume video years ago as a guy with a hole in him that way. ipad in the front under the hole in his shirt, mini camera behind his back shooting outwards. Check it out.

It might create the words and memes. It will throw the kitchen sink at everything in every direction and every once in a while, something will stick.

@OhmiKuma Those CEO's want to make sure they can keep the gravy train flowing. That comes from NOT having a disaster. Also, that's what gov't regulations are for.

As opposed to the outstanding results we get from government whenever they try to do....anything?!

@cemmy410 fair enough. I often skip the first 45 seconds of every random video I click on because it’s usually just a long rehash of the title of the video I already clicked on. You don’t have to sell me, I already clicked. But then I’m bored before it even starts.

So you're telling me that a government over response to a threat hurt more than it help? I'm shocked. Shocked I say. Governments will ALWAYS virtue signal over giving pragmatic instructions.

The guy who is trying to save free speech is now a villain? Explain. Also, John Oliver is a Great example to use for artificial intelligence. Very little of what comes out of his show is real.

Doors win in a landslide unless we want to get pedantic. Doors is the correct answer. Calling a bearing a wheel just makes you an asshole. If we want to go down that road, every book is a door into another world. Our thoughts and speech are the same.

Sorry, but I completely disagree with this video. Thumbs down. Who are you to tell some AI user what they can and can't put on a private company's platform? Disinformation? Go look up literally any news channel and there's a very good chance you'll find incorrect information. The last few years have been FULL of incorrect stuff on youtube. So what? I don't understand why you're taking it so personally, but you not enjoying the dumb channels doesn't mean they should be taken down. I could not possibly disagree more with you on this. Putting in a copyright claim on stolen footage is completely understandable, but putting in a report simply because you don't like the channel is absurd.

It wouldn't be unprecedented for somebody to find an extremely useful application for something completely insane.

Demanding videos be taken down because you don't like them is a duty? Who decides which channels should be allowed to say what they want on a private platform? You? This is a dangerous, and usually extremely hypocritical road to go down. And none of you people better talk about science and YouTube unless you have been furious about all of the factually correct information that was taken off this platform over the last three years over covid issues. Nobody in the comments seems to be talking about the litany of factually incorrect stuff on virtually every news channel. I think you guys are all cherry picking and it's gross.

What is this say to me? Learn Japanese and go buy some cheap real estate.

If you're watching a 10 minute video of nonsense with an AI voice, then that's on you.

8:40 You think climate change is a worse threat to the "biosphere" than habitat loss? So if we pumped exactly the same amount of Co2 in the air but we all lived in a single megacity and somehow didn't cause habitat loss like we did by spreading out, it would still be the biggest issue? Someone needs to explain that to me slowly. Climate change doesn't hurt the biosphere in any capacity whatsoever. The earth will still be covered in life, it'll just be different life, and much worse for mammals. It's a zero net risk to the "biosphere"
