  1. I'm all for a wealth tax. I think 1% after the first $250 million is more than fair but FFS do it at the federal level. As a governor I'd never do that at a state level. Of course people would leave. I would too!

  2. Minimum wage "inflation" is the wrong way to look at it. That makes it sound like a minimum wage keeps going up because in real terms, it doesn't. I thought the $15 minimum wage was nuts and I agreed with all the talking points but then I went online and looked at an inflation, calculator, and it turns out that where I live, $15 minimum wage didn't even keep up with inflation compared to what I was earning in 2001. The cost of living has gone up more than the increase between what I made and $15 now. I was quite shocked, and I had to eat some humble pie. The math doesn't lie.

  3. Bezos is far from the only billionaire? Technically true, but he probably has as much wealth as all of the rest of them combined so that's not a fair comparison. Someone worth 1.2 billion is not equal to somebody worth hundreds.
