@moralityisnotsubjective5 $12k a week is bananas, but it’s all relative. If you were doing something that was making the boss $100k a week would you want a little more of the pie? I would. I have absolutely no idea how valuable these writers are, I’m just talking in general terms. I think the percentage of what you make is more important than the overall dollar amount.

20 years ago it felt like the opposite. Now the pendulum swung around and broke the clock because it’s hard to tell the difference between left leaning principles and right leaning principles these days. It’s like they’ve swapped. Always support whatever it makes the most sense at any given time. Who gives a damn whose mouth it comes out of?

It’s such a shame. You’ll see bumper stickers that’ll say “Thanks a union for your 40 hour week”. 100%. I’ll get down on my knees and blow whoever came up with that idea back in the day, but they achieved it. Now the unions are no different than the people they fight.

It's interesting you quoted Futurama while talking about how writers are nothing special. It'll be a long time before a I can put out anything even close to as good as Futurama, with its metaphors and subtleties and clever word play. @EddieSpaghetti69
