I'm gonna push back a little bit. I really do think that Democrats used to be for tighter borders, then they got caught up in virtue signaling, and now they are realizing the error of their ways so they are reverting back to what they were. I don't think it has anything to do with polling data. No stuff like Biden pretending he was always a certain mindset. It's just gross and he can go to hell. I'm talking about people like officials from New York City who are now seeing how bad the immigration thing is and they realize they back themselves into a corner. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they've changed their mind since being faced with the overwhelming evidence that they were wrong.
