  1. Fund it. I’m serious. Make part of it be a declaration that “We good now”. If it cost that much to make this absolute nonsense go away once and for all then I’m for it. The people who signed it will also be required to make public declarations of what they believe the impact will be on inflation and budget deficits, and all of that, and they will have to answer for any and all unintended consequences. Can you imagine what would happen to rent and property prices if you gave a bunch of the population $5 million each? Use it as a test case for everybody else. And saying that $5 million is minuscule is hilarious, as would be deciding who is eligible. If you are 50% black, do you get $2.5 million? What if you moved there from an African nation that was never colonized by whitey? The fact that grown-ups take this even remotely seriously makes me doubt that we are living in reality. This has to be a simulation.
