So this guy is in favour of some thing that produces a very direct specific outcome and when asked if he is OK with that, he just says it's weird to even think about. I actually honestly believe that being a social justice warrior is a mental illness. An actual clinical mental illness.

I love this conversation but I have to push back at 41:49 . Of course when you search for straight couples, gay couples come up. That only makes sense because the search for "straight" couples only makes sense in the context of gays. Since hetero is the norm, if you search for "couples", straight couples come up. Nobody is tagging their photos in the metadata with "straight" unless it's a photo from an article about homosexuality. This isn't one of Google's SJW idiocies. It's just logic.

I actually think John Stewart was good back then. Are used to go after everybody and I thought he was clever. Now he's an absolute clown show. He got his PP whacked by the left, by his own admission, after he went on, Stephen Colbert show, and said that obviously, the virus came from Wuhan. After getting torched, he has fallin in line with everything. I don't think you're giving old Jon Stewart enough credit though. He didn't go off the rails as bad as Stephen Colbert, but he's still awful now.

This guy spends his speech time trying to defend himself. He's such a sick man. Columbia gets a guy who was partly responsible for the biggest pandemic the world has ever seen to come and speak? Will somebody please explain to me how this guy hasn't been drawn and quartered in the town square for what he did. I truly can't fathom it. Too bad RFK won't be POTUS because he would make Fauci spend the rest of his life behind bars where he should be, and I don't mean in some minimum security cushy prison.
1
Is that she went South of the border and gave a speech where she very explicitly told people to not come to America. She told them to not get involved in these caravans and come, yet now that they're here she's acting like it's what she wanted all along? Typical two-faced politician.
1
@charlesvan13 He literally has no say in it.
1
@ Irrelevant. My point still stands.
1
It's crazy to me that people throw around the word treason like it's nothing in America where it literally carries the death penalty. So Mitt Romney would literally rule that Tulsi Gabbard is guilty of treason and sentence her to death? I highly doubt he'd think it's appropriate if she was sent to her death in the electric chair. These people are muppets.

11:25 "blaming israel" is a very different thing from condoning what happened. Both things can be true. I'm getting really irritated that suddenly we're pretending that Israel is some angelic entity that is innocent as a newborn baby holding a kitten under a rainbow. I think it's OK to acknowledge that Israel has also done awful stuff and certainly has done stuff that can justifiably provoke the anger of Palestinians, while also believing that what Hamas did was absolutely reprehensible. I'm getting really sick of every single outlet completely ignoring why Hamas did this. It did not come from nowhere. I understand it core to their belief is that the Israelis should be driven into the sea, but under no stretch, should we pretend that Israel is completely innocent? Just once I want to see an outlet discuss what the actual grievances Hamas had are, even if it's to debunk them totally. I want both sides of every story. I don't care if one side is absolutely righteous. I'm Canadian and I donated money to the trucker protest and I went to several of them. To my core I supported them, but I would never want to see a news article about them that was biased in our favour if it completely ignored what the government position was. Honestly explore all sides to everything.

I'm so glad they're doing class action suits once this is over. It's unacceptable what they are doing. They are not trying to work with the business owners. So many have tried as hard as they can to comply with everything and still they get the shaft, and are told "sorry, we're all in this together". If you are getting paid and I'm not, don't tell me we're in this together.
1
That was spun so poorly. He was referring to specific types of girls in specific circles. He doesn't think it's okay to grab the pussy of any woman at the supermarket, FFS. If you deny that there are those types of women out there, the ones who use their bodies to bag 'em a rich one, then you're denying reality.

Only 20% of the worlds muslims live in the middle east. The rest of the world has few problems with muslims. Ipso facto: you're talking about a fraction of a fraction. That doesn't mean the whole culture is okay with murder.

@darylfoster7944 I've lived near a zillion homeless, and been around them and talked to them. Never met a single straight edge homeless person who wasn't an angst ridden teen who could go get picked up by daddy's Jag at any time. I've often wondered what society would've been like if getting high wasn't a thing, like if human physiology didn't interact with the plant kingdom in a way that messes your brain up temporarily. If getting high wasn't a possibility because it was biologically impossible we'd still have down and out people but I wonder how many. My heart breaks when I encounter homeless who are clearly mentally ill.
1
You mean in the days before the government had tanks, planes with bombs, and drones? An armed resistance today would be very ineffective.
1
I get where you are going with that and I see your point, but I still can't imagine in any way, shape for from the average US citizenry is competing with the US Army. There aren't caves and jungles and places to obfuscate a fight, especially on home soil. We'll agree to disagree. If you want to try it out, then have at it and tell me how it goes.
1
Yeah Don, lecture a guy from South Africa about racism. South Africa had REAL racism until much, much more recently. I promise you that Elon Musk understands what racism is.
1
Those were leaders. Do you think the average citizen was cool with it?
1
I'm amazed at how many triggered gun nuts posted comments.

All political parties are pathetic in this. YouTube lets you run long videos for FREE! What a wonderful platform where you can do in depth with your policies and explain the pros and cons. Nope. Only soundbites. Election signs should just be calls to go to the website, or YouTube page so people can get a real understanding. I never see politicians saying "Please, go to our party website and read our platform". It's never been easier to reach people.

She was just on Rubin again.

8:30 Dave says the SJW thing etc is getting more intensified but he sees more and more pushback (as in it might end soon). That was in 2016. I'm in 2020 and I want to pat you on the head because that's adorable. It's so much worse now.
1
But it's a fucked up totem pole because the victim culture WANTS to be on the bottom. It ironically puts them on the top at the same time.
1
We're already there in Canada. Trudeau froze the bank accounts of people involved in the trucker protest, and during Covid you couldn't say "Hey Canada, you do you. I don't want covid restrictions so I'm going to get on a plane and go to Florida". You couldn't fly on a plane or get on a train etc if you weren't vaccinated, and the US land border was shut down. You couldn't just leave like a normal free citizen. It was absolutely nuts. I NEVER thought I'd see something like that.

Twitter has banned a sitting president of the United States of America.
1
If RFK jr said the exact same things and Harris was POTUS and put him in charge they'd be over the moon.
1
Score one what? Jay specifically says he doesn’t believe the claim.
1
@backyardbuck6362 and vice versa.
1
If you make a statement, back it up. He should’ve insisted that she come up to the mic and thoroughly explain her statement.
1
I wish every hole I had could be filled with wads of corporate cash
1
He may as well be a rich guy going "Money isn't important because it doesn't make you happy"
1
19 years ago, not 10. We're getting old, Dave.

What's crazy is these people don't believe that they have a point of view. They believe that everything that they believe is reality and everything that everybody else believes is misinformation. As this video shows, they truly don't think that there's anything wrong with the media spouting all the governments talking points. How can they not see how insane that sounds? They would lose it if a right wing government did the same thing. I absolutely guarantee they would call it propaganda. I'd bet my life on it.
1
On the right you only get crazy hatred from the super hard-core fundamentalists, but on the left you get it way Way way way way closer to the centre. The left does not consider the ladies of the view to be extremists.
1
I’m in Canada and our immigration is absolutely out of control. It’s a vicious cycle. You bring in more people so there’s more money and more demand for goods and services so then you complain that there’s not enough people to fill the job so you bring in more people to fill the jobs, and that just makes it worse.
1
I could explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
1
Next time, you should have a body camera on you and film the entire day and then post every second of it online after someone puts out a hit piece on you. Post all 11 hours of it to show people how you acted vs how the journalist said you are. I honestly have the same respect for journalists that I do for lawyers and politicians. Of course there are a small, select few who do the right things for the right reasons, but most of them are fucking scumbags. You can tell how many are disingenuous once you realize how many leave and enter politics themselves. They just want to have the power.
1
To be fair, this entire thing is literally about religion. @europa
1
He has both, or at least did with covid. I don't know his views now.
1
Of course they won't be held accountable. They aren't stupid. They did this with the help of lawyers to make damn sure they did it in a way that can't get them legally in trouble.
1
FFS the queen oversaw the transition AWAY from the colonialism. The people angriest about slavery and colonialism etc should be the ones trumpeting the queen and the UK the hardest because they are the ones that ended slavery and they voluntarily gave up their territories. Do you think the Romans did that? The Mongols? The ignorance of these people is breathtaking.
1
The CBC did a documentary on the protests, and literally while they were showing footage of bouncy castles and happy people they were talking about how scary and violent they were. I never thought in my lifetime that the media would turn into what we heard about from the old Soviet union. Literal constant lies, despite what is right in front of our faces. It's the strangest thing.
1
It’s as stupid as the green new deal. I refuse to take anything even remotely seriously, or anyone who says it, if the thing that’s being proposed is literally impossible. Where are they going to get one dollar homes? Are they willing to go that far into debt that absolutely means certain death for the city? Of course not. They should be left out of the room and never allowed to return. Adults only.
1
What was your ranking as a man? What was your ranking immediately after starting to compete as a woman? I rest my case.
1
I'm not a fan of that term because nobody really means it. You think Robert doesn't protect copyright from his books? That's government protection. Damn sure he was high priced lawyers on retainer. Does he want 100% open borders and open trade? Does he was people to work 75hrs a week in a mine with no safety equipment? Doubtful. Everyone wants SOME governmental intervention. Nobody wants businesses to literally be able to do what they want.
1
That sounds like one of those quotes that's misattributed. I very highly doubt he ever said that to anybody who would've repeated it.
1
Your problem with him is that he's not extreme enough? This isn't Mountain Dew, it's elections. Measured and pragmatic is a good thing, who cares if he's not shouting sound bites?
1
I'm not a fan of the guy and I honestly don't even think he's that good of an actor, but he's been a A list celebrity for longer than anyone else I can think of, and he had no fall off during that time. He's been as big as it gets since Risky Business. That's 40 years of sustained success. I don't get it, I don't get his appeal in the very least, but I can't deny his status.
1
Adams has "fuck you" money. He does not need to cash in on anything.
1
@reecelee5218 We already do have every diverse representation. To expect it to match skin colour and genital demographics would make it phoney and contrived though because it assumes every human has the same desires and we all want to run equally.
1
@RIbigDave No way. I'd rather he be out front making silly statements as opposed to being one of the deep state that pulls the strings. Keep the cameras on her.
