Everybody has that one thing that makes them lose all objectivity. I think we can figure out what that is when it comes to the daily wire.

How else can the war machine feed?

The Vietnam war was justified by the same reasoning. Everybody is a threat. In the case of Vietnam, it was the domino effect. But the domino effect theory is ridiculous because it should work in reverse as well. And America lost that war and communism didn't take over. We need to stay out of this conflict. Terrorists and Israel should not concern America whatsoever. Only get involved if armies try to invade and take over Israel, We need an ally in the region because oil..

The reason this bothers me so much is because we are playing a game of good versus evil, right versus wrong. Nuance has gone right out the window, just like it has with Ukraine. Obviously killing innocent people is wrong. Duh. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't take a step back and ask some questions. We need to look at this holistically as opposed to "these guys did something bad in a vacuum, and we need to go after them with everything we've got. Take religion out of this and look at it as strictly a terrorist attack and we'd be much more level headed about it all. It's now basically just tribalism and each side thinks they have the moral upper hand.

If Israel wasn't a "holy land" we might be more willing to make rational decisions.

Yeah that was wierd. Call it what it's called on the map.

There's no solution when everybody in the region thinks that dirt is "theirs". We need to stay completely out of this conflict. America should only be involved to stop an actual invation of Israel so we can maintain a friend in the region. Only intervene in an existential threat, and only fight on Israeli soil.

I'm on the other side of that one. I simply can't understand how it's bad for someone to say "Let me shut my mouth until I have all the facts". That's not the same as saying "Lemme wait and see if I think targeting innocent people at a festival is okay". We don't need to immediately comment on things we have no control over.

6:00. Everybody feels a connection to the holy land, whether their conscious of it or not? That is a ridiculous thing to say. That's exactly the same as saying that all white people hold racict views even if only subconsciously. And Dave, saying that this was an attack on America, because some of the people that were attacked on foreign soil happened to have been. American is completely insane. It's literally incorrect on every level imaginable. Unless they say that they attacked specifically because Americans were there, this is not an attack on America in any capacity whatsoever. These guys are acting like partisan tribalists, nothing more. I scrolled a decent ways down and literally every single commentor is against you hear Dave. I really hope you delve into the comments on this one or look at the fact that it has nearly 100,000 views, and a little more than 5% of people gave this a thumbs up.

To be fair, this entire thing is literally about religion. @europa
