  2. It's NOT racism. At all. That's the laziest take ever. White people make fun of white people in the summer who don't have a tan. Ask a photo retoucher: light skin people want darker skin, dark skinned people want lighter skin. It's a "grass is greener" type thing. Stop playing the race card.

  5. "Self hate is a big business." Yup. Deodorant makes us feel bad about our smell. Hairspray is because we feel bad about our natural hair. That's all this is. Racism has nothing to do with it. That won't stop the truly racist from constantly keeping the subject alive though.
