  1. It's a real issue. Doesn't matter what the thing is (you're female, you're short, you're black, you're very ugly, you're very whatever) it's always on your mind. You'll usually wonder if that thing is the reason things didn't work out, regardless if it had an impact or not. It's so hard to tell when it did have an impact and when it didn't.
