  2. They've been elected 3 times in a row. I have yet to talk to one single person who voted for them at any stage who actually read their party platform. In Canada, every major political party posts their party platform on their website before the election. I had one hard-core liberal supporter who actually got angry at me when I asked her if she read the party platforms and she said she doesn't have time for that. It'll take you a couple of hours once every four years. She won't even do that yet gets indignant about her political beliefs.
