  2. How is Bob #2? This is for non skateboarders for sure. Bob is absolutely amazing but influential? Very few will ever get to skate a mega (which is Danny Way's anyway), and nobody skates vert. Bob is absolutely one of the all time greats but this list is about "influential" specifically. 99% of skating is street these days, so what did he actually influence? Tony influenced back in the day and was the only guy to go larger than the sport itself when vert was the shit but it was already almost dead when Bob came around and is still super ultra niche. This list is for people who only know about xgames type stuff.

  3. Danny Way is unquestionably the GOAT. He was the best vert skater AND street skater in the early 90's. He was as good as anyone alive in both, plus he was a pro snowboarder at the same time. He also invented the mega-ramp. Give me 1 good reason he's not the GOAT? Rodney invented all the street tricks, but he was "just" street flippy tech. Danny did bowls, rails, gaps, manny's, vert, and mega ALL at a the highest of levels.

  4.  @culturedsquid8442  Way is debatable? By what measure? He was as good as anyone at street (rails, gaps, manny's, ledge) AND vert at the same time, plus he invented the mega ramp. He's absolutely the GOAT and it's not even close. Nobody else has dominated more than one skating aspect, let alone at the same damn time. He's getting no respect in these comments. Aa Geoff Rowley said in that ON video, Danny Way "...is the greatest skateboarder that ever lived".

  5.  @maxence8186  Mike V is a dickhead who had about 4 decent years. He should be an afterthought because he was never right on top and hasn't been good since the very early 90's (and the way he treats people).
