Pete is bang on. John refuses to address Pete's point about how there are 159 products we use that cobalt for but Republicans only seem to care about one of them. That's a very good point which needs to be addressed.

I can't believe I'm actually on the side of Pete Buttigieg here. His point about how we only care about slave labour for this one product is a very good one. John is way out of line here.

I can't stand Pete, but in this particular instance he's right, end of story. He actually did answer the questions, and he answered them very concisely even though John tried his best to not let him talk. No rational person could possibly watch this interaction and think that Pete didn't win hands down;

They only do that if they're attacking someone who might be able to defend themselves. If you're attacking someone who you have dead to rights, you'll let them speak. That's the playbook.

Don't equate a concern with how somethings gonna be paid for with a lack of concern over who would be the beneficiary.

@carljcreighton I wish I could find specifically what he said, but he had things to say about his Transportation portfolio that were mindbogglingly stupid. I've seen him say some spectacularly gaslighty things about the infrastructure that drove me nuts. You know that feeling when a politician says something so stupid you take it personally? You're shocked they would think you are dumb enough to buy what they're selling. We all know that feeling. His resume was absolutely not up to the task. Anyway, sorry, I don't have anything concrete to point to. A quick google search pulled up nothing but left wing platforms that blew him so I couldn't find it, and YouTube doesn't let you search by date and most Pete stuff comes up with him going after JD Vance recently. I guess all I have is "Trust me bro!" haha. Cheers.
