They should have to pass a basic test about each bill. Not a crazy one, but enough to make sure they know the jist before being able to vote on it, and EVERYONE is required to take the test whether they plan to vote or not, just so you can know who knows what.

I think the best plan of action would be to fully expose all of what Tik Tok has been doing and let people decide for themselves. Most people have no idea what the nuts and bolts are. Security experts say it's way more shady than what the domestic companies do though. Zero chance I'm putting it on my phone.

Not at all. Paul said the CCP has nothing to do with Tik Tok which goes against what every coding expert who's gone on record has said. They all say this is a new level of information farming and of course it goes to the CCP FFS.

He's arguing a point nobody is making. Nobody at all. Zero people are trying to ban speech. Everyone involved says you can say the same things and post the exact same videos on FB, Insta, YouTube etc. He straight up said it's not part of the CCP which flies in the face of every single expert I've heard who's looked at the code and all say it goes way beyond what even the domestic big tech companies do.

He's not though. Tik Tokers are allowed to express the exact same things on Insta, YouTube, Facebook etc. Rand is arguing a point nobody is making. Nobody is saying that the things Americans are saying on Tik Tok shouldn't be said. Nobody at all, and there are plenty of other outlets so no it's not infringing on a damn thing

Good Lord. Both of them are acting like petulant children. The truth is somewhere in the middle and they don't need passive aggressive shots at each other. I hate politicians so much. Both of them put on more of a performance than a fact based information session.
