What I find truly astonishing is the level of smugness people can have while openly lying. It would be interesting to have a full understanding of what's behind that smugness. What do those people know that they are so protected that they could outright lie and have nothing come of it?

He had his opportunity and did nothing.

There are Republicans, Democrats, and "the machine". She is part of the machine.

RFK or Vivek would do something about it. I can't figure out why Trump has such a cult following considering he had four years and did virtually nothing about this stuff despite his adamant claims he would drain the swamp..

You completely misunderstand what this video is about. It's about the government causing private business to stifle free-speech. In that sense free-speech absolutely does apply to the Internet. @CapnLubeHandles

I think the community notes section of X is the perfect example of this. YouTube's version of having the official government version of climate change or vaccines or whatever is an absolute laughable joke.

It's incredible how often people are caught with absolute lies in their testimony. They will say they are unaware of something, but then email service about them discussing it previously. Somehow these people are never held to account. The system of the uniparty is an absolute joke.

The school bully didn't steal your lunch money, he advised you to give it to him.

That's why I don't understand the cult of Trump. He talked a big game about draining the swamp, but nothing happened. If the Republicans win the next election and don't start hammering down, then they are just as pathetic as the Democrats right now. I have no faith that anything will actually happen.

The vast majority of the time you can tell who's right and wrong with the audio off. 20 years ago it was visually clear that the liberals were the side of logic and reason, and the conservatives were not. Nowadays is the exact opposite. But it's even weirder now because there's this gray area of "the machine" that is not really liberal nor conservative, but it sure is smug and has poor body language.

That's the part I hate the most about these people. All of the liberal gains came about because groups were allowed to state their case and be heard. But as soon as they got in power, they won't allow the same mechanism. The hypocrisy is astounding. They are completely morally bankrup while believing the opposite.
