The knives are a totally different thing because they are a physical product that's supposed to hold up. ET is obviously a silly thing you buy for fun (at least to anybody with even a modicum of common sense) whereas the knives are advertised to be legitimate chef quality knives to use every day.

I bought one and I'm totally fine with it. It's hilarious how many YouTube creators are freaking out about this. I honestly consider these videos clickbait, and I thought legal eagle would be above it.. OBVIOUSLY if I went to Scotland I would not literally be considered a land a owning Lord. I would not hesitate to make a video with those guys as a sponsor, although maybe because so many people are complete idiots I would put a sarcastic comment about it obviously being just for funsies.

And yet YouTube is absolutely filled with ET outrage videos and it's nuts. It absolutely blows my mind that people can be absolutely furious about this. And commenters are going off as if some great conspiracy scam has been uncovered. *palmface

What real world practical difference would there be if Established Titles legitimately made someone a Scottish 1ft sq land owning Lord vs it being just a meaningless PDF? None? Exactly. It's a gag gift and I can't believe people took it seriously.

How on earth are people seriously outraged about this? OBVIOUSLY you aren't literally a land owning Lord in Scotland if you give a couple bucks to buy a PDF online. I am absolutely astounded at how many videos have been made about this lately. It's clearly something to be done just for fun, just because, take it or leave it. For people to purchase it and then be furious is hilarious to me.

Comparing someone who literally wants to take your money and steal it versus a company who gives you what you paid for, minus perhaps some pedantics about when you can call yourself a Lord, is ridiculous. I paid to keep a square foot of land untouched and receive a silly PDF, and that's exactly what I got. Not a scam. If I got what was advertised, what's the scam? The Lord part? Somebody out there truly literally honestly thought that you would have a legally recognized title as a Lord? Good Lord.

Strangest comparison ever. Napster? Napster was completely legitimate. It did exactly as it was "advertised" to do. It connect people for P2P file sharing and it worked very well. In no way was it a scam whatsoever. Legal music rights have nothing to do with whether Napster was legitimate or not.

Trump didn't want to lock down and do all that stuff. People are finally waking up to the fact he was right. Countries like Sweden that didn't lock down were just fine.
