  1. The greenpeace one is especially pathetic because there are all kinds of noble causes they are desperately needed for that should be right up their alley. Why aren’t they losing it about overfishing? With water there are several things that are very important right here right now, but all they care about is this nebulous concept of climate change as it relates to everything else woke. Maybe they just don’t want any goals that are measurable, for obvious reasons

  2. Nailed it. Like almost everything else, follow the money. Getting rid of money is not so hard but when you couple that with purpose, you have something borderline intractable. Can anybody think of an example of a lobby group who got their way and they smiled and said thank you, and then went away?
