That's what drives me nuts about the Trump outrage. Is he supposed to go off virtue signalling about what a prick KJU is over there in North Korea, then go to meet him? That's not how negotiations are done. How that's not obvious is beyond me.
13
Good on you. Both sides should wish that EVERYBODY is as good as they can be. Wishing the other side fails is really unproductive.

I said the same thing on Facebook (that I have a hard time telling Antifa and White Nationalists apart other than the Antifa ones would be the first to throw a punch) and got called a Nazi bootlicker and was told violence was okay to use on me. I just don't get it.
7
I would love to see the dislike ratio for any video he is on.

And then the top general told people in secret that if he decided it was warranted, he would overrule the POTUS. The military overruling the POTUS? He better get court martialed. That's WAY more egregious than what those people did on Jan 6th. They weren't literally there to stop the president. They knew damn well that wasn't going to happen. They are the gun nuts and they didn't arm themselves. Anybody saying that was a coup attempt is disconnected from reality on a level that is mind blowing to me. Does anybody thinking that it was a coup truly believe that those people prepared for an actual coup? The military obsessed gun nuts tried to take over the government like THAT? C'mon.

People were fine with it because that's the way society viewed it. Go watch old Louis CK bits. He directly uses it and he directed Pootie Tang. Nobody cared because again it was in context. Criticizing people for doing stuff that was totally fine when they did it is horrible. The planet of the apes one is a bit rough because I can't think of the contacts where it would've made sense, but still, there is clear evidence Joe isn't a racist so this is absolutely a witchhunt so those people can fuck right off.

The crazy thing is than CNN has the video of that on their site! I think Anderson Cooper should have SOME sort of integrity. This is 100% fake news. Both sides do it and it's gross. I don't get why everything has to be spinned and slanted, but this one is as bad of a fake news thing as it gets.
4
"How could any mother be proud of you as a son" Her son built a pretty impressive resume, so there's that.
4
It's like that scene when Hightower in Police Academy tells the dog to sit and all the trainees sit too
4
It was not a legal answer to a moral question. That would be the case if she made a logical argument. Saying that advocating for genocide of a specific group of people, some of whom happened to be in the vicinity, was not harassment was insane. Substitute the word black, or gay, or any other number of groups and there's zero chance it would be treated the same. It was faulty logic, and morality. End of story.

It's unreal. Every CNN video I click on has that ratio. Maybe it's because I only click on them for rage-porn, but still.
3
John says this immediately after seeing a clip of Vivek clearly articulating that he needs to learn more information before coming to a conclusion. That's the literal antithesis of that quote. Gaslighting is one thing when you know the secret truth behind the scenes, but it's entirely another when you try to contradict video that immediately proceeded to comment. It hurts my heart that people don't care about objective reality.
3
Demean others? Justin called the people in the trucker protest, Nazis and bigots and misogynists and all types of things. The coward wouldn't even meet with them. All they wanted were the same laws that Denmark had at that exact same time. He is a pathetic clown.
3
Because she gets eyeballs and support. No different than why websites use clickbait. You didn't think politicians are truly in it solely for the good of the people, did you?
2
You are right, but for the wrong reasons. Literally every single time people like her have gotten into power it's escalated and ended tragically. People have history to back their fear up.
2
It's always somebody else's fault.
2
Skip Frake I think it's immoral to vote for the lesser of evils. I'll vote when somebody actually deserves my vote. I don't want to reward idiocy. In the last election in America, the opponent was absolutely not one iota better though. At all.
2
@doobitron Those two are really different. Bernie is in la-la land. He has pipe dreams that are impossible and illogical. Tulsi is grounded in reality.
2
This was going after her? You did not watch the same video I did. This was a really well done video, which blew me away because it's CNN. If you saw this as a hit job then you are so far down the ideological rabbit hole you may not make it out.
2
The left seem to have no problem if you vote for race or gender, just so long as the race isn't white and the gender isn't male. It's the strangest hypocrisy. How about vote for the most competent? Why bring skin and genitals into this?
2
Yeah that one was a little cringe. That's not one you can use in context because the theatre was not in a setting that looked like the movie at all.
2
1:25 THAT is why you lost. Identity politics. America had just elected a 1/2 black man, twice. Obama went 2 for 2. Where were the racists then? Also, it's a stupid comment because Trump defeated a white person. How that guy and others like him can be highly paid to be on national tv with such base level arguments and excuses is beyond me. What a simpleton.
2
How many times was she given a chance to reconsider? It's not like she can claim she just misspoke, that's for sure.
2
Yikes. That's like the opening act band at a concert saying the main act only brought them along to boost their profile.
2
But now Biden is in control so it's a go. It's like how a sports team will fire a GM, then the next year win it all with essentially the same team the last guy put together, then everyone talks about how the new GM is a "winner" and a great GM.
2
By the time Tulsi is in her mid 40's she should be ripe for leadership (unless the system corrupts her first).
2
He's balanced? How many positive things has he said about Trump?
2
I have a feeling Trump's legacy is going to be much kinder than people currently think.
2
So you are assuming a behaviour behind closed doors of your friends because of their race? You're judging them based on that, especially with no actual evidence? There's a word for that......
1
There's a good chance he gets four more years. If it wasn't for RFK, he would win the next election in a landslide.
1
Dead white folks.
1
If all sides hate her, she's doing something right. I liked her on Joe Rogan's podcast.
1
Please google any international ranking of socialized healthcare systems. Canada always ranks dead last or close to it by nearly every metric. Use any search terms you want in any search engine you want. It's completely incorrect to say that we have a well working healthcare system.
1
That's because this woman took it upon herself to actually enter the premises. Trump said no such thing, and he specifically told them all to go home.
1
@bitbugsbyte Look up what the wealthy pay in overall tax dollars, then tell me you could do without it, and without the jobs they take with them. Having 50 billion dollars is absurd, but the reality is if you chase them away, you'll be worse off for it and that's just reality.
1
You just had to bring race into it, eh? People say stuff like that as if there aren't millions of poor white people too. Makes no sense. It's just race baiting which is the lowest form of communication.
1
@bluewolf5895 You're half right. The wealthy pay the majority of tax overall, but the rate itself is low (at least among the very wealthy).
1
@SleepyJames So I'm a racist if I think people should stop blaming other people for their problems? Not sure what one has to do with the other. Interesting take. Anyway, I'll take the word of a world renowned black economist (who grew up poor in the ghetto btw): “Racism is not dead, but it is on life support – kept alive by politicians, race hustlers and people who get a sense of superiority by denouncing others as ‘racists’” — Thomas Sowell
1
Literally incorrect.
1
Well, that s"hrivelled stump" is most likely going to be your president. Again. I eagerly anticipate more videos of people crying about it. @aboutface7961

So a staff writer for The Atlantic made Asian story about black people? I'm shocked. BAHAHAHAH, he then goes on to say there'll be a bit of an Asian uptick, but a big uptick in white admissions. So he specifically saying he doesn't want more white people there? So he made this a whites v blacks issue. That sounds incredibly racist to me, but that's only because that's literally what that word means. How are these people taken seriously in any capacity? "The educational benefits of affirmative action?" He said white people and Asians will somehow benefit from this? What an absolute fucking clown. And so is anyone who doesn't think that is completely ridiculous.
1
What were the horrors of Trump under the last administration. Please be specific. Tell me what actually got worse during the time he was in charge.
1
Ever actually had soy? It's delicious. I can't think of a less masculine thing than being afraid of a delicious plant full of protein and vitamins. Pussy.
1
Bernie did not answer the question. He was asked about getting rid of billionaires via taxation and whether that was his plan. It was a yes or no question. He answered by saying the top 3 guys have way too much money, and that billionaires should be taxed "fairly". That's not an answer! He danced around it like a virtue signalling twat. It's a yes or no question. God I hate politicians so much. Scumbags.
1
You're including Cosby in that? The MJ allegations are not rock solid like the Cosby ones. He literally drugged and raped a boatload of women over the course of several decades, by his own goddamn admission! C'mon man, when the evidence is overwhelming and massive in scale you can't defend it.
1
WTF!?!?!?! 6:45 is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. John is insisting that Vivek has very firm opinions on things he knows nothing about, and that's his comment right after being shown a video where Vivek says he needs to learn more information before he comes to any sort of firm conclusion. Anybody who listens to this CNN garbage and thinks it's trutworthy information shouldn't be able to vote.
1
Shaking hands with someone is bad now? I simply can't understand why people were upset that Trump tried to open up diplomatic relations with enemy states. That's exactly what we should be doing. Play nice and try to win people over instead of having press, conferences, and calling them evil. What possible good can come out of publicly calling another world leader evil? Do you think they're gonna realize they were wrong and start being friendly or do you think that's gonna stiffen their resolve and make them even more dangerous? People like you actually want the conflict. You want to feel righteous indignation if you truly live for the conflict. Trump was the only recent president who didn't get the country involved in new wars. Hillary Clinton never saw war she didn't like. If she was Republican, you guys would be calling her out like she's an evil warmonger.
1
Why? CNN does not take a stance here. They are just incredulous that such a rookie is already this famous and they offer a couple of opinions as to why she's bucked the trend. What about that is hard to watch?
1
What are you talking about? Vivek said that he needs more information before coming to a firm conclusion. That's the very definition of a sensible answer to such a serious question. The comment section is acting like he made definitive statements that were incorrect. If he did, please quote it.
