What's funny is you could cut this interview (the Triggernomety one) and absolutely make David sound like a hard-core right winger because he talked about how you have to enforce borders and deport illegals, and that you should be able to make ridiculous amounts of money and be crazy rich, etc.

  12. The opening statement blew my mind. It's fine to say you don't like Sean Hannity, or anything about him, but to say that Gavin Newsom is exactly what the Democrats need is absolutely insane. I can't imagine anyone who epitomizes the greasy politician more than Gavin Newsom. Everything about him is slimy and greasy. The type of guy that your friend starts going out with and you grab her by the shoulders and shake her and ask her how she could possibly not see that this guy is an absolute creep who will say or do whatever it takes to get elected. He's like a Democrat Mitt Romney. He's like a bloody caricature of everything we hate about career politicians.

He talked about how you need strict immigration control and need to deport illegals and how you should be able to make incredible amounts of money and own yachts etc. It's absolutely incredible to me that the far left continues to label anybody they even remotely disagree with as right wing. Over and over. I seen literal card-carrying Democrats be labelled far right extremists. It's the strangest thing. Also, all debates are people trying to lure the other into their talking points, so to speak. You try to get the other person to come to your side. That's what debate is.

  45. They always are. If people would search out debates hosted by centrists, they would find all kinds of these types of discussions. It's only the people on the far left and far right to get surprised every time that normal people are able to have calm debates even if they've heavenly disagreed with the other person. Francis Foster saying "wow" when David made probably the craziest statement of the whole interview about how he couldn't have imagined the withdrawal from Afghanistan going any better was about the most extreme level of disrespect or smugness I've ever seen on their show. There's tons of good reasonable content out there with people who disagree with each other.

New York City has had to cancel overtime for some public employees so that they can literally give debit cards to migrants. This administration is funding a proxy war. Trump did not get into any new wars and is the only president in recent memory to have that distinction. Inflation went insane under Biden. Trying to bring some critical industries back to America so it could be more self-sufficient is about the only thing Biden has done that isn't an abject failure. His polling numbers are abysmal and he will lose the next election.

  49. I can honestly send you article after article, video after video of Canadian news articles that are absolutely incorrect. I download videos and articles that are outright lies all the time from Canadian media. 15 years ago it was outstanding. It was factual and boring, the way news should be. Then we went down the American route of sensationalizing everything and then the federal government started financially supporting all news media organizations except the ones that go against them, so you end up with pure nonsense propaganda. The mainstream Canadian rags are absolute atrocities now. They are no better than the major American newspapers and news channels. Biased, cherry picking and misleading.

I'm as anti-woke as it gets so I mostly watch different outlets than you do and the channels I watch the most (Dave Rubin, Tim Pool, The Hill, Russell Brand, Liberal Hivemind etc) do this the odd time as well and every time they do I leave a downvote and a comment explaining why I did. It seems to be universal. My kingdom for politically homeless channels that don't try to bait you ever. Maybe Triggernometry? Dunno if that counts though because they are an interview channel.

There are untold numbers of exchanges like this on YouTube. It's only extremists who are surprised by it every time.

  58.  @hipsabad  Saying the homeless situation isn't worse in left leaning cities is just denying reality, full stop. Seattle, Portland, SF, LA, they're overrun. I've been blue collar working class my whole life and I work in the middle of some of the worst homelessness imaginable in Vancouver's downtown East side. It's an empathy vampire. My empathy is almost gone. The poverty here just pisses me off. The junkies WANT to be here. They WANT to be on the streets. I'm building low income housing and I'm blown away at the attitudes of the locals. They are the worst. I used to have empathy but they way they behave ended that real quick. And almost zero crime is because can't afford food. It's because they are entitled people who think the world owes them. It's disgusting. Nobody starves in America or Canada.
